About Proximity

Hi, I’m Natalie — founder of Proximity.
I’m a licensed master social worker, artist, and florist who blends trauma-informed care, expressive arts, and education to cultivate spaces where healing, creativity, and connection can grow. My work is rooted in both professional training and lived experience, with a deep commitment to survivor-centered, compassionate practice.
Proximity exists because healing doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in relationship — to ourselves, to others, and to the world around us.

Mission
Proximity supports individuals, groups, and organizations in cultivating resilience, creativity, and meaningful connection through trauma-informed practices and expressive arts.
At the heart of this work is the belief that healing is not about “fixing” people — it’s about creating conditions where safety, agency, and wholeness are possible.

Why This Matters
Trauma impacts individuals, families, communities, and systems — often in ways that go unseen. Trauma steals from us. Trauma-informed care helps us respond with curiosity instead of judgment, compassion instead of control, and connection instead of isolation.
Through education, art, and presence, Proximity invites people into practices that honor lived experience and support sustainable, humane ways of caring for self and one another and ways to support reclaiming creativity and connection.
